Talyce Murray is a seasoned strategist, lobbyist, and grassroots organizer with over seven years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a strong emphasis on progressive and identity-based organizations. She has worked with candidates and elected officials in swing states and districts across the country, developing strategic campaigns that drive constituent engagement and civic participation. With a background that includes leadership roles in some of the nation’s largest and most established nonprofits, Talyce brings a high level of expertise, efficiency, and impact to every initiative she supports.
From 2019 to 2021, Talyce served as Chair of the East Lansing Human Rights Commission, where she advocated for the protection of civil and human rights for nearly 100,000 residents. During her tenure, she established the Police Oversight Task Force, providing the community with a formal process to review police misconduct complaints and recommend actionable outcomes. Her commitment to equity and justice is further demonstrated by her appointment as Vice Chair of the Ingham County Racial Equity Task Force and as a member of the inaugural Michigan Collegiate Student Advisory Task Force, appointed by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.
